Festival Fashion 2025
It’s that 3 week period between Mardi Gras and the devastating heat where we get to FESTIVAL in New Orleans! We hopped on Great Day Louisiana with Malik Mingo this morning to talk about our favorite looks for the season!
Not in the mood to watch? Here are the highlights:
Always Rule #1: Always be comfortable. We always want to look hot, but not at the expense of being a mess. That means ditching the flip flops (the floor on New Orleans has a layer to it. The floor is lava). When wearing rain boots, bring a high sock. Sometimes it helps to just feel good. Trust us.
HATS: Fashionable and practical.
The Fisherman Sandal: We have never seen them on a fishing boat, but that’s what the fashionistas of the world are calling these shoes and we love them for the season.
Vest in Peace: We are seeing them everywhere and they make for the perfect bit of texture to dress up your look.
SETS: Nope not the tv set we’re on, tops and bottoms. We love the pop of color Aimée’s set has, but you can also mix and match it. Top, with some shorts. The skirt with a tank top. One outfit can become multiples and a must for the budget with the price of festivals these days!
